LCDR Milone is native of Staten Island, New York and graduated from The Cooper Union with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering. She was commissioned through Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI in November 2012. She then reported to Civil Engineer Corps Officer School and graduated with distinction in May 2013. LCDR Milone later received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Colorado Boulder in 2021.
In May 2013, LCDR Milone reported to Public Works Department (PWD) Great Lakes for her first tour where she served as the Assistant Public Works Officer (APWO) managing the Recruit Training Command (RTC) campus. In December 2015, LCDR Milone reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) FIVE where she served as the Alfa Company Commander (A6). She completed one deployment to Okinawa, Japan in support of Pacific Fleet operations across the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. LCDR Milone also served as the Officer in Charge (OIC) of Sri Lanka Engineer Civil Action Projects (ENCAP), deploying to Triconomalee, Sri Lanka, in support of the Pacific Partnership 2018 Exercise. In June 2018, LCDR Milone reported to PWD Patuxent River, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Washington, and served as a Construction Manager overseeing airfield related projects. After completing her Masters, LCDR Milone reported to NAVFAC Headquarters and served as the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commander. Her most recent assigned was the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) Director at PWD Rota, Spain.
In June 2025, LCDR Milone assumed duties as Executive Officer, Naval Support Facility Thurmont. LCDR Milone is a Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona, Seabee Combat Warfare officer qualified, Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I qualified, PWD Level 3 certified, and Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Contracting Professional certified. Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards).
