CMDCM(SCW/EXW) Timothy A. Taylor

Master Chief Taylor is currently assigned to Naval Support Facility, Thurmont MD as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader.
 
A Native of Risco Missouri, Master Chief enlisted in the United States Navy the following summer.  He attended Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Illinois from July to September of 1998.
 
After attending Basic Training, Construction Recruit Taylor attended Construction Mechanic “A” School in Port Hueneme California.  Upon completion of initial training, he received orders to his first assignment, Construction Battalion Unit 420 Mayport, Florida, where he served from January 1999 to April 2001 as a Floor Mechanic and Base Honor Guard.  After advancing to CM3, he took orders to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 (NMCB4) and completed multiple deployments to include Joint Task Force Alaskan Roads, Okinawa Field Crew LPO, and Task Force Mike assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force during the first days of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.  CM2 earned Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist qualification, Automotive Service Excellence Master Truck Certification, and Graduated Construction Mechanic Advanced “C” school as Honor Grade.  His final duty while assigned to NMCB4 was in a Fleet Support Billet supporting Naval Construction Training Center as an Advanced Functional Schools Instructor.
 
In May of 2005 CM2 transferred to Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE), Detachment Fort Leonard Wood as the Maintenance Supervisor and Instructor for Equipment Operator & Engineering Aid “A” Schools.  Shortly after arriving onboard, he earned his Instructor Qualification, Master Training Specialist Certification, and led the Command Fitness program.  Additionally, he assisted in facilitating Chem/Bio advanced training, disaster preparation & operations specialist certification, and was selected as a Naval Military Trainer for the last 18 months of his tour.  CM1 reported to NMCB74 at Gulfport, MS in October of 2008 where he served as the Battalion Cost Control Supervisor, 3MA, Detachment Maintenance Supervisor to Detachment Dwyer Afghanistan.  After Selection to CMC, he led a water well Detachment to Ethiopia Africa and later was selected as the Battalion Maintenance Supervisor for 14 Operational level maintenance facilities across the 7th Fleet AOR.
 
In February of 2012, CMC Reported to Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) as the Tactical Ground Mobility Chief and served as Maintenance Chief, Operations Chief, Task Force Logistics Chief, and Department Senior Enlisted Leader where he earned Expeditionary Warfare Qualification and Combat Service Support NEC.  Once Selected to EQCM, he executed Orders to the 30th Naval Construction Regiment in August of 2018, based out of Santa Rita, Guam, as the Logistic Department LCPO (R4C).
 
His personal Awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2), Joint Service Commendation Medal (1), Navy Commendation Medal (2), Navy Achievement Medal (4), and various Campaign and Unit awards.
