Master Chief Jackson is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and Atlanta, Georgia, and enlisted in the United States Navy in September 1995, attending Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois.
Upon completion of boot camp, he attended Radioman ‘A’ School in San Diego, California.
In 1996, Master Chief Jackson reported to Navy Manpower Analysis Center in Millington, Tennessee. Where he served as an Automated Data Processing help desk technician and UNIX/ Windows network administrator.
In 1999 he reported to Strike Fighter Squadron 81, completing two deployments aboard the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN-73). In October 2003, he reported to the Center for Information Dominance where he earned his Master Training Specialist qualification and was advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer on September 16, 2006.
Master Chief Jackson has served in a variety of duty stations around the globe to include Navy Information Operations Command Georgia, NAVCENT Forward HQ Kuwait, the Defense Information Systems Agency, Joint Maritime Ashore Support Terminal (JMAST), Commander US Naval Central Command, Bahrain, Fleet Cyber Command/Commander TENTH Fleet (Command Senior Chief), Electronic Attack Squadron 141(Command Master Chief), Navy Information Operations Command Georgia (Command Master Chief). He now serves as the Naval Support Activity Washington, D.C. Command Master Chief.
He is a graduate of the CMC/COB course Class 18030, Senior Enlisted Academy Class 186 (Red Group), U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Command Senior Enlisted Leader Executive Leadership Symposium, National Defense University KEYSTONE Fellow (class 21-3), Certified Resilience Building Leadership Program Trainer, and holds an Associate’s degree in Information Systems Business Management. His personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards) and various unit and campaign awards.
