Mr. Michael K. Hedrick

Mr. Michael Hedrick reported as the Deputy Commanding Officer, Naval Support Activity Annapolis in March 2026. In this role, Mr. Hedrick serves as the principal advisor on all installation matters to the Commanding Officer.

Mr. Hedrick began his civilian career at Navy Region Europe, Africa, and Central Asia in April 2012 as the assistant program manager of Training and Readiness. He also served as the deputy director of training & professional development (U.S. 6th Fleet), deputy director of training (Littoral Combat Ship Squadron 1), deputy director of operations (NDW), director of operations (Navy Region Korea), and most recently as the director of force protection and law enforcement (Navy Installations Command).

Prior to his civilian career, Mr. Hedrick served 22 year in the U.S. Navy. As a non-commissioned officer and career surface warfare specialist, his sea tours include USS Trenton (LPD 14) and USS Stephen W Groves (FFG 29). His shore assignments include Afloat Training Group, Destroyer Squadron 60, and Naval Support Activity, Naples Italy.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Regents University of New York and holds master’s degree in Adult Education and master’s degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. His awards include Joint Commendation Medal, multiple Navy Achievement Medals, and Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Award.

Mr. Hedrick is a native of Kissimmee, Florida. He is married to Mrs. Isabel Cedeno Mendoza, and they share 3 children and 3 granddaughters.
