Operations

The NSA Annapolis Operations Team provides Fire, Emergency, Safety, and Security services for tenant commands. These professionals have a focused working relationship with mission commands and the local community first responders that is built on trust and mutual respect, enabling them to expertly coordinate over 1,500 evolutions each year. The NSA Annapolis Operations Team extensively collaborates with outside local and state governmental entities through formal mutual aid agreements and informal working relationships. This allows the team to provide innovative solutions to operational events that take place within the NSA Annapolis footprint. Visits by both national and international distinguished officials are coordinated with complete professionalism. The presence of cabinet members, service secretaries, service chiefs, combatant commanders and their foreign counterparts, and other dignitaries is a common occurrence.

Typical events include the Navy Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service Symposium, full honors funerals for fallen heroes, national and international conferences, military commander counterpart visits, distinguished alumni events, formal parades, Blue Angels flight demonstrations, major sporting events such as Navy football games and NCAA championship tournaments, fleet ship visits and operational training support for active duty Fleet and Reserve units.
