Pass and ID Office

Services

The Pass & ID Office is the issuing authority for US Naval Academy specific ID Badges, Visitor Passes, Midshipman Parent Passes, and other temporary access passes for US Naval Academy staff, faculty contractors, and visitors. The Pass & ID Office also issues ID badges for dependents that live on the yard who are not authorized a Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC) or military identification card. Employees not authorized these cards may also receive a US Naval Academy ID badge.
   

Dependents Living on USNA

Dependents living on the US Naval Academy who are not already authorized to receive a Common Access Card (CAC) or military identification are eligible to receive a US Naval Academy ID Badge.

Procedures for dependents requesting and ID Badge include proper completion of the NSA Annapolis Dependent ID Badge and Vehicle Pass Data Sheet. Completed data sheets may be hand-carried to the Pass & ID Office, or faxed to (410)293-4017.

   
Vehicle Decals and Passes

DoD decals are no longer required for access to the installation. Vehicles for employees or contractors still need to be registered upon check-in or decal expiration.

  
Common Access Card (CAC)

The NSA Annapolis Pass & ID Office does not issue the Common Access Card (CAC) nor military identification cards for retirees and dependents. These services are provided locally at the Naval Support Activity Annapolis DEERS/ID Card Office located at 168 Bennion Rd. Room 218, Annapolis MD 21402. Location and Hours

The Pass & ID Office is located at the Visitor Access Center just inside Gate 1 of the US Naval Academy. The street/mailing address is:

The Pass & ID Office is open Monday through Friday, 0600 to 1500, with the exception of closing at 1400 on Wednesday's for staff meetings.
