Berm Restoration – Repair dredge spoil containment berm. Timeline: mid-late June 2024 – July 2025

 
Shoreline Restoration 
– Install log-toe sills along the eroding Carr Creek shoreline. Timeline: May - Sept 2024.

  

Invasive Control/Marsh Plantin–Removal of invasive plants with replanting of native species of marsh plants. Timeline: Summer 2024-25.

 

Tree Planting – The planting project is an environmental mitigation project associated with a development project on another portion of the installation. Trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants are being planted to protect and restore an area that was cleared of invasive species.

 

Timeline:  May – mid June 2024. The planting plan was submitted to MDE’s Critical Area Commission (CAC) office via email on 8 May 2024. Planting received CAC concurrence 14 January 2021, provided MDE was notified of the Planting Plan (sent 8 May 2024).
